Fabia with grown-up face

Design
A facelift from the spring of 2010 was most significant by design changes in the front fascia. Vertical lines were replaced by horizontal ones, which give the car a wider appearance. Also, a new exterior colors and new choices of wheels were added, and the interior was updated as well. Fabia has „grown-up“.

And there were big news under the hood, too. In the range of petrol engines, the pair of three-cylinder units, a 1,2 HTP/44 kW and 1,2 12V HTP/53 kW was supplemented by a turbocharged four-cylinder 1,2 TSI in two output levels of 63 kW and 77 kW. The more powerful variant can be ordered with 7-speed, dual-clutch DSG automatic transmission. Naturally aspirated engines 1,4 16V/63 kW and 1,6 16V/77 kW remain in the range as well.

The diesel line-up begins with the 1,2 TDI CR/55kW unit, followed by 1,6 TDI CR in 55 kW, 66 kW and 77 kW guises. All these engines use the common-rail direct fuel injection.
The 1,2 TSI petrol engine is characteristic by its high output, great acceleration, quietness and low fuel consumption.

Exterior

Front bumper with pronounced horizontal line and bold radiator grille make for a dynamic and robust look. The headlamps and fog lights with daytime running function optically widen the front fascia. The exterior color pallette consists of more than 10 paint options, and the overal look is further enhanced by a range of full wheel covers and light alloy wheels.

Interior

The interior oozes quality and offers not only comfort and convenience for it’s occupants, but also excellent functionality of controls and switchgear. Three- and four-spoke multifunctional steering wheel enable driver to easily control the radio or phone, and new instrument panel with pleasant graphics and wide range of functions enhances the look. The impression is rounded off by fine upholstery materials.
